Nearly 66% of the legislature voted in favor of your right to be safe.

Nearly 80% of the voters agreed it made sense to amend the Wisconsin Constitution to protect your right to keep and bear arms.

This issue is not controversial at all. Even people who have never owned a gun, have signed the petition to restore their right to carry a gun for their personal safety, should they want to. We know only 3% - 4% of the population will lawfully carry a gun, yet nearly everyone wants to reserve their right to do so.

The right to be safe is basic and understood by everyone. Some people think a cell phone is enough, others carry non-lethal force, like mace or pepper spray. On the other hand, no one is willing to have the government wrongfully deny them or their families of a fundamental individual human right, like safety.

We only have to pick up just about any newspaper on any given day, to see how well the government is doing at keeping the crime rate at zero.

The resolutions and petitions are now in the hands of your county officials. A few of our friends in the legislature also have them, and I made sure the Attorney General has the petitions, resolutions and much supporting documentation to make his job in this process, as easy as possible.

Please send a copy of this resolution to your county officials and ask them what action they have taken. If none has-Why?
